Patrick Lyster worked for Mala Mala Game Reserve, with Clive Walker in Educational Wildlife expeditions, in the Okavango, Tuli block, Klaserie and Timbavati and ran his own Walking safari camp called “Patricks” and horse safari’s in Namibia. He has travelled extensively working in a Kibbutz in Gaza, playing rugby for Kilkenny county in Ireland and for Parma in Italy, has been a marketing manager, a lifeline counsellor attached to the crisis team, a yoga teacher, and has diplomas in hypnotherapy and trauma counselling. He works as an actor in Cape Town and internationally having worked in such locations as Japan, Argentina, Germany, Italy, Mauritius, New Zealand and Canada. His highlights include working with directors Manie Van Rensburg, Bille August, Clint Eastwood, David Baily, Greg Latter and in the theatre with Rex Garner and Janice Honeyman.
