Rachel Hendrix was born and raised in Dothan, Alabama. After graduating from the University of Montevallo's College of Fine Arts, Rachel began her career as a professional photographer. But when a local filmmaker cast her in a music video she discovered a passion for being on the other side of the camera. Her work in videos and commercials led to being cast in Jon & Andrew Erwin's short-lived television series, ALUMNI, which in turn led to them casting her as the lead of their first feature film, OCTOBER BABY, for which Rachel earned national recognition and acclaim. She lives in Switzerland with her husband Gabriel.
